✿ܓ Strawberry Tart I Made ~
1. Shell
⌇ Ingredients ⌇
♪ Butter 250 g
♪ Icing Sugar 125 g [ Sifted ]
♪ Vanilla Essence 1 tbs
♪ 1 Egg [ Grade A ]
♪ All purpose flour 500-550 g [ sifted ]
⌇ Steps ⌇
✿ Mix butter and icing sugar
✿ Add vanilla essence
✿ Add whole egg and mix until fluffy
✿ Add flour and mix until the batter becomes dough
✿ Take some of the dough and put it into the tart mould
✿ Press te dough until it has even thickness
✿ Trim the surface with a knife evenly
✿ Prick the tart shell surface with a fork
✿ Bake in preheated oven at 160 c with a top and bottom heat until slightly brown for 20 mins
2. Filling
⌇ Ingredients ⌇
♪ Cream Cheese 250 g [ Room temperature ]
♪ Butter 20 g
♪ Caster Sugar 60 g
♪ 1 Egg [ Grade A ]
♪ Blueberry or Strawberry Filling
Piping bag [ 2-3 pieces, for cream cheese mixture and filling ]
⌇ Steps ⌇
✿ Mix the cream chesse, butter and sugar
✿ Add an egg and mix until fluffy
✿ Pipe the filling into the tart shells
✿ Pipe the cream chesse mixture on top of it
✿ Decorate the cream chesse surface with the filling [ I use another piping bag for this because I want the hole to be cut much smaller than the other one. I find it much easier to decorate the tarts this way. ]
✿ Bake in preheated oven at 160 c with bottom heat for 5-10 mins
✿ Keep them in air tight container and put in the fridge to keep it fresh longer.
